Letter M

I having the problem with typing letter M in any browser or internet page,
but do not in Word, Notepad, etc. Any ideas? Cleaning does not help. I have
to kick M multiple times
 
I think the kicking may be the problem. This is known to damage keyboards
:-)

What browser are you using? Do you have any addons for the browser to use
special keystrokes for different functions? What mouse and keyboard software
do you have installed?
 
Nothing,windows'98 with Explorer 6.0

The non XP windows groups are largely dead. Few posts, and not a lot of
real experts. They've mostly migrated to XP by now.
 
My only other suggestions would be to try a different browser (i.e. Firefox)
and/or a different keyboard and see if the problem goes away.
