Letter case

I believe he is referring to the feature (that I have used in Word but never
in PowerPoint) that allows you to highlight some text and set the case for
that text to such things as: sentence case, which capitalizes the first
letter of a sentence (but messes up proper names), lowercase, UPPERCASE,
etc. When I have used this in Word, I have never figured out how to get it
to default to an intelligent choice (it doesn't even seem to remember the
last thing I used). I assume that BruceH is asking about this feature in
PowerPoint.

Huh? Could you clarify what you want to do?

How can the letter case default be set to toggle case?

I guess what I'm saying is, by default, the letters in a textbox can be
toggled. I don't understand what "toggle by default" or "default be set to
toggle case" means, exactly. (Maybe that was supposed to be "default be set
to title case"?)

In PPT 2007, you can set a textbox or placeholder to be, for example, all
caps. But you cannot specify that a textbox or, say, a Title Placeholder, be
set to change to Title Case by default.

As Luc says, you can indeed toggle the case on text, though, using Shift+F3
or the Toggle Case tool on the toolbar or Ribbon.

Hi,
Not in PPT 2003, in PPT 2007 there is a button in the Font group of the home
ribbon. You can use Shift+F3 to toggle though.
