Hello:

Jimmy once discussed the installation of new chip sets. Could anyone provide me with information or perhaps a link?
I recently got my puter back up to date, using good advise from the Newsgroup. I am having trouble with Soldier of Fortune 2 running on XP> I have all updates from Microsoft installed, Direct X 9, 256 Ram, Tons of memory, Nvidea 200 , In an Athlon 1700... Any advise. The symptoms are initial setup no problem, opening of game no problem, attempt single play, and the screen is frozen, escape does not work, control, alt, delete does not work. Usually have to shut the system down and restart.

Hi Eddie,

Perhaps we discussed chipset drivers. The chipsets are actual chips on your motherboard that are not normally replaced, and are
not user replaceable.
