Less usefull than other spyware and malware programs, Why is that?

I have 4 different spyware, antivirus and malware programs running at all
times. They all, except Windows Defender, are easy to use and notify me when
scans are completed and the results. Windows Defender does none of these
things. Even finding the log file of program operations is hard. The
history file is incomplete also as there are no details of scans or updates.

The Microsoft Anti-Spyware program was much more user friendly and easier to
use. Hopefully there will be some updates coming that improve the usability
of Windows Defender or I will be removing it. If I can not tell or see what
the program is doing or has done, then I have no faith that the program is
working as advertised.

Windows Defender has a scan summary after it finishes on my computer,
plus the amount of time the scan took. Are you saying no text is displayed
after WD completes a scan?
 
Absolutely nothing is displayed. the only way I know the results is to
search for MpCmdRun.Log and then click on the file when found and read the
results.

The history portion of WD only displays attempts to hijhack host files.
 
Did not get the attached image so have no idea what you see. Maybe I will
just remove WD and try downloading it again from Microsoft. Nothing else is
working.
 
I removed WD from my system including using "my computer" to remove all
existing folders. then restarted system and downloaded WD from Microsoft and
reinstalled. So Far seem to be working OK. Only time will till
