Hard drive manufacturers provide software that helps to set up their drives.
Check the appropriate web site or did you get a CD with the drive? Use it.

Thanks a lot for the reply.
But this hard drive came with Dell. And my computer had 143 GB hard

I agree that i did not knew as much i should i have known when
formatting.
But here is the situation.

My previous administrator was called A...
And after the most recent formating it was called B....

So now i can see that there is user called A.But i cannot access it.And
it has storage of 143 GB.I want to delete it tus user A.

Please advice

You keep talking about formatting, but I don't think that you really
formatted. Formatting is when you wipe the hard drive absolutely clean.
Nothing remains. If something is there after you "formatted", you didn't
format - you performed a repair install.

What exactly did you do, and what program did you use that you think
formatted your computer?

Your precise and clear answer will allow people to assist you.

I think it is quite possible you installed Windows into a folder. No
matter what you did, you did it wrong if you wanted to simply format
your drive and start over.

Follow the instructions in the first link. The second link will tell you
what you need to reinstall Windows.
