Hello!!

I was planning to purchase the A600 All In ONe Computer highly recommended
by PC World....
That is,until I talked to their technical support..
The unit has no line input nor video output..He said I should use the mic
and headphone ports respectively..My experience has taught me there is an
impedance mismatch here..Anyone have any input(excuse the pun)...Thanks,Nick

All you need to do is put a volume pot in between your line device and their
mic input.....You do this by getting a 10K pot and put your line signal
across the entire resistance of the pot, and then pick off whatever
percentage of the signal you need with the slider and feed that to the mic
input of the computer. This a passive device that works to attenuate any
signal you have that is too powerful for any input you need to feed it to. I
have built several of them. I put them in a little chassis that is large
enough to also mount several connectors on the sides. One I use frequently
has 1/4 inch phone jacks and RCA connectors on both the inputs and outputs
so I can use if for a variety of signals.
