my ver. of vista is over 2500 mb long.I cannot find a cd that long an my
dvd's can'
t be read

Try rephrasing that, Vista needs to be burnt as an ISO image to a blank
DVD+R, DVD-R or DVD-RW. DVD+RW

It has to be on a DVD not a CD.

If your DVDs can't be read, then either you have a bad drive, or you are
doing something wrong.

Hmmm... really? I haven't any problems with my installation, with even
smaller device. Of course, it was taken a little bit long time, but try my
way: Split it for 1,44 MB, and try to use a floppy :]

If I have already installed WinXP/2000 and
I extract all files from ISO to a disk folder, can
I install Vista (dual boot with previous OS)?

Thanks, Roman

According to my experience: it was unsuccessful. But maybe this is depending
from platform? Try to use another partition, i.e. system on one, space for
vista, - second, and image on the third.
