Length of slides

You can't lengthen the video as such but you could import and add a black
bitmap to the end of the timeline and stretch it to the required length.
(You can easily create a black bitmap within Microsoft Paint)

When the sound track is less than the video track, how does one lengthen
the video?

Hi there,

You appear to be using slides. If so simply grab the right edge of your
slides and slowly drag to the right. Clearly this will lengthen the movie.

A better approach is to set the default duration for your slides in Movie
Maker, you can then select all of the slides in your collection and drop
them to the time line, they will all end but one another and all be the same
duration.

An even better option is to select the first two slides from your collection
and arrange them with overlap as required, including Transition effect. Then
go back to the collection and select and grab all those that remain and drag
them to the timeline and release them whilst the mouse is to the right of
those already on the timeline....this will cause all of them to align and
overlap in the same way as the first two, The whole process, even for a very
large number of slides, is quite fast...once you have practiced it a few
times.

Hope this help.
