Length of Audio Clip

I'm using the Narrate Timeline feature and find that regardless of how long I
talk, the audio clip cuts off after 7.61 seconds. I've looked everywhere for
a setting that controls the length, but found nothing that allows the audio
clip to record longer. Can anyone help?

Just a thought...if you open Movie Maker
and go to...

Tools / Narrate Timeline / Show More Options...

Is there a check in the box:

"Limit narration to available free space on
Audio/Music track"?

Also it might be worth a try to use the Windows
Recorder and see if it has a time limit. If you are
able to make a longer recording with it you can
import it into Movie Maker.

Start / All Programs / Accessories /
Entertainment / Sound Recorder
