The template's use of filters and the requirement that they be used to check
out an asset is undocumented and confusing. I'm trying to set up a library
system for township schools in South Africa and need to eliminate confusion.
Any help out there?

Hi Floyd,

I did some searching at Microsoft's site, and I think I have located the
template you mentioned:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC102068831033.aspx

In general, it is best to include your the version of Windows and Office
(including service packs) that you are using. In the case of template
questions, it is always good to provide the download link, so that others who
try to answer questions will know exactly what your setup is, and which
template you are using.

First off, did you click on the button "Provide Feedback" for this template?
If not, you should share the same comment with Microsoft that you have posted
to this public newsgroup.

I've spent the last 10 minutes as my first-ever look at this template. I
agree that it is somewhat confusing. You might want to try searching Roger's
Access Library, to see if there is a sample more to your liking:
