Is it me or does it bother anyone else in the enterprise
area that it shows remote control software? it picks up
my remote control software that is invisible to the
user. i don't think that other software such as vnc,
timbuktu and dameware should be considered "spyware".
most of the time they are put there on purpose.

anyone else have a take on this?

MS AntiSpy reports VNC and likewise as proper software which should not be
deleted if it was intentionaly installed by an administrator. READ!

RealVNC showed up as possible spyware on our machines, too. However, I was
pretty impressed with the description it gave, saying it looked like it was
installed by the user or an administrator and it's supposed to be there. It
also defaulted to ignoring RealVNC as spyware.

It would be really sweet if we could set up ignore lists and such via Group
Policy so none of our machines would pick it up in a scan. :)

i agree with the other 2 posters that it mentions it
looked like it was installed by an admin and should be
left on and is defaulted to ignore. therefore i think its
perfectly fine
