Legit files?

After a bout of viruses, I have three files in my System32
folder that seem suspicious -- qscsdq.exe, cccds.exe and
ffqca.exe. How can I determine if these are legitimate
files, and if not can I simply delete them?

Thanks!

right click each file and choose scan (your virus software
should have added this to the menu). If your virus scan is
any good, it will tell you. Make sure you have updated
defines.

Thanks. I did that for each file and no virus was
detected. Yet the firewall program recommended denying
these programs access to the internet. Is that normal?

All of those files you listed are malware. Boot up in
safe mode and delete them. Look for their names in your
registry and remove them from there as well.

The file qscsdq is a back door and conencts to IRC.

The other two I can't find anything on, but are most likely
suspicious as well. You should send them to your AV vendor
and tell them that your firewall is reporting these as
suspicious, but aren't detected as viruses.

They'll take a look at them and if they are viruses you
have then protected a lot more people.
