can anyone help change an Epson Stylus Color 740 paper
size setting to print a legal size document on legal paper
-----
Peggy,
What Operating System (OS) are you on and are you using the driver that came with that OS or from Epson?
If you are on Windows 2000 and using the Epson Stylus COLOR 740 ESC/P 2 driver that came with Windows 2000 you can
tell the printer to use Legal by going to the Properties. Once in Properties go to the Device Settings tab and change "Auto
sheet feeder:" from Letter to Legal and then click the OK button. Once this is done right click the printer again and select
Printing Preferences from the context menu. Now click the Advanced button on the Layout tab and make sure "Paper
Size:" is set to Legal also. This tells the printer driver that you will be using Legal but you may still need to tell your program
that it will printing to Legal paper. Don't foget to put Legal paper in the printer as well.
