legal size faxes

is the win2003 fax service supposed to scale legal faxes to letter paper if
the default tray is letter, as in sbs 4.5? currently it is breaking the
legal fax over 2 pages.
 
Yes, this is the expected behavior in win2003 - if the printer preference is
to use letter sized paper, one page of a legal sized fax is broken over to 2
pages. You need to keep the printer preference setting to legal to get legal
faxes printed out without breaking into multiple pages.
