Left Shared Border

I create pages in tables that are 720 pixels wide. I have never used the
left shared border because it seems to always want to be at the far left of
the browser window (fine for liquid pages, but not a page that you want to
control the width of with a table. Surely there is a way to use a left
shared border in a table - I know that I am missing something.

Not possible.

You have to use the FP Include Page component.

Hi Tom,

Thanks! While waiting for a response I came across another of your posts
that said basically the same thing so I gave it a try and WOW! I can't
believe I haven't been using this since it has been available.

Thank you so much.

Great!

It removes a lot of the limitations when using Shared Borders but gives you the same overall
benefits

Hi Tom,

Since I have your ear, would you recommend using the includes for the header
and footer too?

Also, should I make the htm page that will be say the left-hand include in a
table or with the column width be set by the column width in the main page?

TIA,

You will get the best results insert any include into a table (column or row).

Thanks Tom!
