Left Click Problem Using IE6

Using IE 6.0 SP2 with XP Pro SP2, 2Gigs PC memory. Sometimes, left
clicking a link within a web page will not open a new window. This
happens maybe half the time. However, right clicking the same link,
then clicking Open in New Window, works every time. Is this an IE
problem, system problem, or maybe a mouse problem? Any suggestions
will be appreicated.
