Steve: For the suggestion box: Would it be possible to allow the fontsizes
to go in half-steps (.5pt increments)? The project I am working on has an
optimum font size of 3.5pt for insect specimen labels I can get half-sizes
in Word, Publisher, even Wordpad (which saves in RTF by default).

{Note - I looked at the RTF code directly and noticed that the \fs value is
twice what the font size is if you look it up via a regular dialog. When I
hand-tweaked the \fs value by an increment of 1 there was a corresponding
change in the display for most of the smaller sizes. I am using Access 2003
and the generator is Riched20}

Thanks for all the work you have done - you are a blessing to us Access
users!!!!!

OK, then.

The weakness may be in the font dialog in the context menu - was the font
dialog yours or MS's ? I know Access natively does not support half-sizes.

Mike

It's the standard Windows Font dialog.
SOmeone else had asked me about this same issue of half point font sizes
months ago. I don't remember my response off the top of my head. You
might search GoogleGroups.
I had 4 hours of dental surgery yesterday and am taking heavy drugs for
the next few days so I won't feel up to revisiting this issue until
later this week.

I tried tracking it down - apparently it got flushed or deep archived - I
could not get it from Google or from MS' web link to their newsgroups.

I will hack my way through it and catch you in a few days or so. Get better
soon!

Thanks!
