leaving Calendar at last week shown

I show a 5-day (although in options set to show all 7 days for the work week)
view (horizontal strips for each day). When I select on a week other than
the current, and then leave to look at another part of Outlook (inbox, tasks,
etc.), it puts the view back to the current week if I click right back to
calendar. Any way to get it to show me the last week I was looking at?
 
Other than using the GoTo key (Control-G) and entering the date, no not as
far as I know. You could open a seperate window to the Calendar so it stays
where you put it while you work in other areas of Outlook
 
that's what I ended up doing. Thx.
