Is it possible to create a script in outlook that will leave mail on
the server for a specific folder within an account rather than an
entire account?

Actually, further explanation could probably clarify the intentions.

I work from several computers at several different offices, the email
account is an IMAP account, but the storage space is limited (surprise,
surprise). I would like to be able to download the mail from all other
folders to my primary system at home, but leave the email that I need
to either respond to or access regularly in a folder called "review"
for example.

Outlook has an option to download messages from the server, or leave
them on the server - either for a specific duration of time, or
indefinitely. I prefer to not have to view my entire email file at one
time, but only those ones that I have in my Review folder.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

That option (leave mail on server) only applies to POP3, which assumes there
is only one folder on the server - the Inbox.

Dmitry,

Right. Thank you.

I'm a little dense today apparently.

If it were POP3, is it possible?

No, since there is no concept of folders in POP3.
If you connect to an Exchange Server through POP3, you will see the messages
in the Inbox folder only.

Thank you again.

Dissapointing, but not surprising. I do have a vision, if I can find a
way to bring it to reality, I will post it.

I appreciate your expertise and your time Dmitry.
