Hello all,
My name is Al Taylor, I am a Netware CNE/CNI who is jumping on the Win2k train very late. In the course of my learning I have posted many times to this and many other Microsoft newsgroups. About two weeks ago I posted a DNS question to this newsgroup and got a response from a gentleman named Herb Martin. Herb runs a small company called LearnQuick.com. Herb bent over backwards to answer my DNS question and not just answer it but explain the why's and how's of the answer. I visited his website and decided to give him a call. I have since decided to attend his training early in 2004. I urge you to explore his site at www.LearnQuick.com and see for yourself. Herb not only knows his stuff but also explains the concepts VERY well.
One of the first questions I asked him was, 'Is your training like an MCSE bootcamp?'. The answer is no!!!! He not only tells you HOW to do it, he explains WHY he will teach you how to use certain tools and techniques. I have taught Novell Netware since Netware 68 all the way through Netware 4.x and Herb seems to be a total professional, and to really care about those that are learning from him and his team. I do not expect to walk out of his training and start earning $100,000 per year right away but I DO expect to gain the skills to complete my MCSE. Selling myself as a Microsoft professional is up to me.
Thank you Herb
See you in 2004
