Hi, Jeanette! Long time, no type. <G>

It's dead simple to use. Put it on a server, make a few changes to the
clients either via GPO or logon script, then sit back and watch the magic.
Be sure you download the White Paper on installing and configuring it - but
don't try to read it all the way through, concentrate only on the chapters
on server setup and client setup. The rest is good background but not
necessary.

Richard,

I have it installed and updates downloaded by the clients can't find it
I am really stumped - been at it over 9 hours - I have read the whate paper
but can't seem to get it working.

One of the things that tripped me up the first time was getting the wrong
template for the SUS client-side settings. Try this one:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ea-d274-42e6-8025-8c667b4c94e9&DisplayLang=en

Download it, then the method of application depends on whether you're on an
AD domain or not. If you're on an AD domain you'll want to load this
template into your domain policy and make the proper settings there. If not
you'll want to add it on each computer that you want to update through the
local policy editor (gpedit.msc).

Let me know if you want more details on either process.
