So where does one begin to learn VB.NET??? "VB.NET For Dummies"???

Taking any and all suggestions as to some good books as well as any online,
web resources you might all know regarding learning and getting up to speed
on VB.NET.

I appreciate your review and hopeful for some replies.

Are you new to programming in general, or just to .NET? It would help a lot
if you were to share a bit about your background.

for somebody who knows a bit about programming.
