Where do you start? If you want the fast track, take some computer
classes, and hopefully you'll see something you like. If you just try to
learn this stuff in your spare time at home, it will take much longer.

The field has all sorts of jobs, from network administrators to
programmers to system analysts to web masters to technicians (and
more!); but it will take time and effort to become qualified for any of
them.
