Leaking Programs

I am interested in finding out how to find and repair
leaking programs that are using up my ram.

Update the program. YOU can't do anything about poorly written code, can

However, on XP, the program is not using up your RAM, it using up the 2GB
address space XP allocates to it.
When you close the program, Windows cleans this up.

Windows manages your RAM, not the program.
