I have some problem with my AD i try to use ldp.exe to troubleshooting the
problema but I have a error:

Authenticated as dn:'administrator'.
Expanding base 'dsassociates.it'...
Error: Search: Invalid DN Syntax. <34>
Result <34>: 0000208F: NameErr: DSID-031001A5, problem 2006 (BAD_NAME), data
8350, best match of:
'dsassociates.it'

Matched DNs:

anybody have an idea?

From the error, it looks like when you selected View --> Tree in ldp.exe,
you entered "dsassociates.it" as the Base DN in the dialog box that
popped-up. You need to specify a distinguished name (e.g.,
"DC=dsassociates, DC=it") in that box, not a DNS name. The distinguished
name you enter will be used as the root of the tree view in ldp.exe. For
example, if you only wanted to see the Users container, you could specify
"CN=Users,DC=dsassociates,DC=it".

Alternatively, you can leave the BaseDN field empty in the dialog box, and
ldp.exe will automatically retrieve and use the distinguished name for the
root of the Active Directory domain controller to which ldp.exe is
connected.
