ldb files

Hello!
I have a question about the ldb files that open when you
open a database. I have closed my application but I still
see a ldb file lingering in the folder. Can some one help
me with this as to how to make these ldb files go away?
I tried opeing up the database and closing it again, but
the ldb is still there. Please help.

If you're absolutely certain that all instances of the
database are closed, then you can just delete the .ldb file.
You probably exited Access in an unorthodox manner at some
time, so the ldb still thinks there's another instance open.
