LDAP Query user priviledges

A web server in a different domain requires to access the AD in my forest to
enumerate users in an OU and to retrieve the user attributes for display in
a web page.
If I create a user in my AD for the remote server to use in the connection,
what priviledges does it need to have to do the above.

Which attributes?

None in particular. If it is a member of the forest, as an
authenticated user, it should have read permission to the common
attributes already. Perhaps I'm confused as to what you're asking?
