I'm not sure what a LDAP Directory is, or whether I use it. I do know that when I removed it and tried to get into my address book, I got the message: "The address list could not be displayed. MAPI_E_CALL_FAILED". So, I put it back in. I use Outlook 2002 (for XP) for home use. Can someone tell me how I can get rid of the the LDAP error message without getting the MAPI error message? Thanks!

Remove it and add the Outlook Address Book instead.

that of course assumes they don't WANT to use LDAP..

this is a known problem with outlook 2002 and Service Pack 2 is suppose to fix it..

on the other hand.. I have the same error with 2003 outlook :(
