Lcdtv As Moniter

Well I can think of a few ...

Traditionally a TV, in the US was 405 & UK 625 (don't quote me on that, memory fades) ... that was how many "lines" it took to make a picture, as you can see we Brits had better picture quality.

Now, as I said that was then (yep I remember) ... now we step into the digital world ... Monitors, and TV's, are always measured diagonally with some manufactures, especially of CRT, hiding some of that screen behind the plastic case ... now LCD/TFTs are still measured diagonally, are they not? ... If that is the case, a 'wide screen' diagonally measured 17" is going to be, err, strange?

Short of it ... buy a "Monitor" for a PC and buy a TV to watch TV ... or buy a TV ‘card’ and watch TV on your 26" monitor. :D

Oh, and the price sucks. ;)
 
you can get a normal LCD monitor and a TV card, for about the same money
