LCD monitors have become more popular as compared with CRT monitors not
only due to their space-saving advantage, but also because they

making even the 19" models quite affordable. All these factors have

But to play today's games, you need one with a 6ms response rate at the
highest and a 800:1 contrast ratio at the lowest. And those ain't cheap.

And one with a 2ms response rate with 1000:1 contrast ratio would really be
needed for the games that are coming out tomorrow.
