Greetings,

I have a Sony SDM-S93-B (19") monitor with a native resolution of 1280 x
1024, it's being driven by a ATI All-In-Wonder X1900 video adapter. When
running under Windows XP, the monitor runs at native resolution.

Under Vista, however, it only runs at a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768.
I've downloaded the latest ATI drivers, I've tried everything I can think of.
The monitor refuses to run at 1280 x 1024 under Vista. Has anyone else seen
anything like this? Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

ArgusX:
What Monitor do you see installed in Device Manager?
My guess is that you have a "Generic PnP" one.
If such is the case you need to get from Sony the driver for your monitor.
It is usually a very small text file, with the "inf" extension.

if your card can support tv, make sure the dual monitor is turned off and tv support is turned off.
if you set the card to use dual monitors, lcd and tv it limits the display resolution.
