LCD HELP

I have an ACER AL1714 17in. lcd. Its a great monitor, but a day ago it may
have suffered from burn-in!!!!!!!!! its not bad, it looks like the upper of
IE. is there any way to fix this like program a lil elbow grease?

I had the same thing once with a different manufacturer. I could see the
boxes in the upper right. Couldn't believe it. But eventually it went
away. It is called Image Persistence and you can find a lot with Google.

Burn-in would require that an image be displayed for lengthy periods of
time, almost continually in fact. Is this your situation?
 
No this is not the case. I noticed it when I quit was IE one day and seen. I
thought it was the problem, so I launched IE back up and made it full screen,
Im 99% sure it caused it. I think the longest I had IE displayed was a little
over an hour.
