Have a PC which when you go into the BIOS to detect hard drives it gives you
choices of LBA, Normal or Large? Having some problems when the operating
system is installing to the drive, missing some files and thought maybe the
hard drive is set wrong??

I have a Fujitsu 10gig, MPE3102AT, and when you go into the BIOS the options
for Cyclinders, Heads, Sectors are the following.

LBA, 1245,255, 63
Normal, 19587,16, 63
Large, 2482, 128, 63

What is the preferred method to use LBA?

LBA is generally the one to use
you may want to look at the drive ...the parameters are usually on the label
so you can see if it is recognized correctly
