Hi,

When I lay all my cells out using the layout tool I manage to get them all
exactly how I want them until I exit FP2003 and then load it again. When the
page loads some of the top layers keep re-sizing and making the table expand
outwards, can anyone help me?

Tables/cells will always expand to the width of any non wrappable inserted content, which will then
impact the rows/columns width and height values.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

So what can I do to prevent this happening?

Many thanks

Not much, this is how tables/cells work. You may be able to use nested tables, depending on what you
are trying to accomplish with your layout.

Ok sorted.

It was because I was using a BLUE background to show where the spaces where.
I removed the background to AUTOMATIC and everything is okay.
