Layout of word processor page

In my Vista "word" program there is no vertical measuring line running down
the left side of the page like there was in the "Word" I used before. I need
this line so how can I make it appear?

Word is not a Vista application, it is part of Microsoft's Office suite. You
should post your questions in a Word newsgroup. I suggest one of these two:
