Hello group. I've been trying all sorts to get the layout at the bottom of
the page www.sub-zeroboots.com sorted out. The text consisting of the links
to other pages (starting:- contact & terms etc.) breaks up when the page is
shrunk - anyway of it keeping to one line even if the page shrinks such as
when someone keeps their favourites menu open? I'd appreciate you help.

Your best bet would be to use a fixed table size, and fixed cell sizes,
rather than trying to have your page adjust itself to every browser size. It
just won't happen. Why? Because not only do you have to deal with screen
resolution, but you also have to deal with window size, which can be
anything up to the screen size (at whatever resolution) and factors such as
you've mentioned (opening the favorites menu, etc). This is typically how
most commercal web sites are layed out now.

In additions to Kevin's reply,

If you don't want the following to break into two lines, the insert a
non-breaking space on each side of the &:

CONTACT & TERMS & PRODUCT CARE

in HTML view it would look like:

CONTACT & TERMS & PRODUCT CARE

You have cells widths that exceeds 100%, All cells must equal 100% of the
table width.

Examples:
<td width="126%" height="48">
<td width="102%">

Don't used the space bar as a design tool.

Don't use &, spaces or any other special character in file and folder names
as many browsers will not be able to access the files.

Just in case you are not aware many users of Windows XP, IE6 and NS 6/7 do
not have a Java Virtual Machine so will not be able to see any Java Applets.

thanks for the reply Thomas. forgive my ignorance, but I could not find the
key-in for non breaking space (help pages no use) or does it have to be
written in html?

Take the dog out to e mail me a direct reply. Michael Roberts

I've tried writing it in html (and you will see the coding is there, ) but I
still get a line break.Any solution to this? Michael Roberts

Delete all your spaces (&nbsp; in html view)
- the space bar is not a design tool
and split your table cells so you have 1 link per cell
