Laying text over existing text

I have a paragraph of text I want to put the word "sold"
over. I have seen it done, but can not find out how to do
it! What I have seen is bolded text that lays at an angle
over the existing paragraph. Any suggestions?

Simplest way might be to use Word Art (Insert > Word
Art). Once you have selected a style and added your text,
click the Word Art picture, Format > Word Art to set your
preferences. At the Colors and Lines tab, fill color is
the color of the letters, and the line is the line around
them. Play around a bit with this. I think it will do
the trick.

You need to create a WordArt object (from the Drawing toolbar) that says
SOLD. Once the object is created, it can be rotated. If it is not already
formatted as In Front of Text, you'll need to make it so.

Beth,

You can use WordArt to create your Sold text, and then
insert that WortArt into a header or footer on the page.
WordArt enables you to also add color, or rotate. Roight-
click the WordArt and select the Semitransparant option
from the Colors and Lines tab under fill. Experiment to
get the fill and color you want.
