Does a free version of AdAware runs on W95? When I try to install it, The
"Initializing Wise Installation Wizard" box shows for few seconds, but
nothing else happens.

I do have ver.6, Build 181. It does not want to install.

In your earlier post, you were blaming AdAware for all of your problems-
so why are you now trying to install this supposedly-nasty software on yet
another computer? I very strongly suspect that you still have not
corrected your previous PEBKAC error.

Your system may need the "Windows Installer 2.0 Redistributable for
Windows 95, 98, and Me". (URL could wrap on two lines):
