Launchy is a free windows utility designed to help you forget about your
start menu, the icons on your desktop, and even your file manager.
Launchy indexes the programs in your start menu and can launch your
documents, project files, folders, and bookmarks with just a few keystrokes!
 
i installed it. It is pretty neat. The only problem is that some
programs install several shortcuts in the "All Programs" option in the
Windows Start menu. Sometimes help is provided as a separate menu
option. Launchy may not show all the options the program provides in
the start menu. But if all you want to do is launch an application, it
works great.
