Launching a valid application

I'm trying to launch a perfectly valid application which is
a script file. Spyware very helpfully comes up to tell me
it is attempting to run and requires my approval. No matter
how many times I tick the "allow" box it keeps prompting me
for approval even when I tick "remember action".

What's going wrong?
