Hi, I have a new Laptop Inspiron 6000 With Windows XP Media. Launchast won't
play inside Yahoo Messenger. Nor will it play within IE browser

I get the error
--
Line 1638

Char 1

Error: 'this.ImageObject[...]' is null or not an object

http://radio.launch.yahoo.com/radio...tw=LaunchRadioTarget&fs=undefined&lssid=86261

I have reloaded windows media 10, I reregistered the dll ocx, I have
downloaded the scripting engines, I have also updated and redownloaded Java

I have tried modifying the settings in windows media under server
connection, played around and still nothing. I disabled firewall to
determine if that were causing the problem and then problem still exists.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have all this laptop and can't play my
streaming music. I would like to get the most out of my xp windows media
center.

Thanks,

I loaded the url you provided and had no problem. No music played once the
page had completed loading. I had to select a radio station from the list
before hearing anything.

Because it is a Yahoo site you will probably find a reluctance here to
answer your enquiry. The error message 'this.ImageObject[]' indicates that
this is an error on the Yahoo page and has nothing to do with IE or MS
media. You should direct you problem to Yahoo in this instance ( I kinda
think that there is an orphaned tag somewhere in their code on the page)

To test this try using the IE Media bar and locate and listen to a radio
station listed there.

I presume that you are able to listen to cd's ?

-- Thanks for replying Rob.

It was actually McAfee Privacy Service Blocking, Once disabled I connect
with no problem. Just don't know how to configure Privacy Service to allow
streaming. Once I disable and connect with Launchcast and Enable Privacy
Service. It still plays. O well. Maybe MacAfee software will auto
configure after playing for a while.

Thanks.
