Hi, don't know if it can be done, but I wish to create a button to launch a
shortcut button from the Outlook 2000 toolbar to open Windows Live Messenger
(formerly MSN Messenger). How can I do this? TIA.

Thanks. I should have been more specific though, my bad. Hyperlinks are one
way, but what I really want to do is to launch the app, not the web site.
Any way to do this? I searched Tips and didn't find this, especially for
2000. When I link a new button (same method as creating a hyperlink) to a
File, (select All files), the shortcut attempts to launch the installer and
all I get is a prompt box. I'll keep trying... Thanks.

Nevermind, I should have had my coffee 1st . I successfully linked to
C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe and all is working well. Thanks
again for your help Diane.
