Launch embedded pdf whilst playing PPS

Is there any way of launching/opening an embedded PDF when playing a
PowerPoint slide show (either PPT or PPS). I can only open the pdf, by right
clicking on it, when the presentation is not playing.

I need to embed a number of small PDFs in a presentation which will run on
about a dozen windows 2k or XP laptops with either Office 2000 or 2003
installed.

Using VBA will be fine as there is already some simple code in use.

Right click it, select custom animations, Add. You should see an entry (at
the botton) for "Object". Select it and then select what you want it to do.
