Latest updates suck

So I went to windows update and installed the cumulative patch and the
other critical updates - 5 in all - and then I couldn't reboot. Took 25
minutes to get to the login dialog box. Took another half an hour just to
half-way populate the system tray. Sick.

I restored my primary partition using Norton Ghost (first time it's really
come in handy). Then tried again with the same problems. Anyone know which
update is the bad one? Thanks

I have now installed all the updates except the evil KB835732. Anyone know
if installing this separately, after the others, is OK? Or does it result
in the same problems? Anyone contact MS to tell them it sucks?
