Latest Security Update

Has anyone heard if there are any problems with the latest Security Update
for Windows XP (KB810217). I've had problems before with earlier updates,
so I just want to check before installing this one.

I loaded it yesterday and haven't had any problems. I did image my hard
drive before installing it, better safe than sorry.

I (and others) have had problems in that Windows Update won't recognize that
the update has been installed and keep getting the "New Updates Available"
prompt from autoupdate. A few others are reporting more severe problems.
There are several threads on this subject in microsoft.public.windowsupdate
.. Searching 810271 there will turn up relevant information.

Remove shoes to E-mail.
 
works great....i always delete
cookies/temp/history/recycle stuff before update.
and run anti-virus before and after updates.
logoff/logon before updates and turnoff antivirus
and do update. i also do updates one-at-a-time.
seems slow but i can always brush teeth during updates.
start update before dinner time and by the time for
dessert it is done..........
system runs faster now.
