Can anyone provide the latest update regarding 32-bit Vista's inability to
recognize systems with 4GB of RAM installed and limiting users to 3.2GB? Is
there a patch or update, maybe even SP1, that addresses this issue? Any
information would be helpful. Thanks.

Once you install SP1 you will see the full 4GB of RAM. However, you
will still be limited to using only 3.1GB to 3.3GB of it. All or part of the
remainder will be used by your hardware.
For instance, on my system, I have access to only 3.43GB of my 4GB of
RAM. If you desire to use the full 4GB of RAM you will have to use an x64
operating system, in which case you will need an x64 processor.
