Use the Nero 6.6.0.16 Wave Editor extensively. Never had
problems. Uninstalled old Spyware then put in in new
Spyware. Nero Wave Editor hangs when trying to write out
data. Each attempt to save data hangs at a different
place. Scanned disk, ran Norton disk doctor, ran
MemTest86 showed no problems. Hangs continue. Disabled
Msoft Spyware, can now write out data with no hangs.
New version of spyware must be screwing up access to
memory or associated timers.
Also, use Nero Express and Roxio and also have
experienced system hangs when they try to do bulk writes
to create DVD files, etc.
Again, I now suspect this version of Msoft Spyware as the
culprit. I will retest these latter two applications
later.
