Latest Flash Won't Install

I'm using IE 6.0.2800.2180 SP2 on WIn XP Home SP2, and the latets FLASH
won't install. The sites keep tellin me to install it. I install it,
get a swirling banner telling me it was successful. But nay page using
the enw FLASH won't detetc it and keeps telling me to install the
latets version. which I do. I get the swirling banner telling me it
was usccesful, but any site using it won't detetc it and keep telling
me to install it. Which i do.

About 15 times I've installed it I'd say.

That could be a symptom of corrupt security settings.
First try using Default Level for the Internet zone.

Alternatively try using prompt for Run ActiveX controls and plugins
just to make sure that it is at least getting that far. Allow the prompt
and see if your symptom changes.
