Hello,
I noticed the other day a lot of latency when starting
programs or accessing different areas on the desktop.
This began after I created a new user profile for my
Active Directory account (where before I was logging in
using my NT4 account). Specifically, when logged in to my
NT domain, Visual Studio starts in under 3 seconds. When
logged in to AD it starts in over 16 seconds. I tested
other programs with similar results.
To make sure this wasn't a problem with the new account I
tested with a brand new one and got the same latency
issue. I'm getting ready to roll out AD for my company
and wanted to head this off before the users got a chance
to complain. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
