Lataest update???

I just got a notice for my desktop to upgrade the
antispyware beta 1. It upgraded to version 1.0.601. I
then connected up my laptop and checked for update, it said
my version was the latest one 1.0.501. What am I missing
here. Desktop=Winxp pro laptop=Winxp home

Yes, its safe, its the Refresh update for Microsoft AntiSpyware that solves
a few issues in the beta 1 release and extends the expiration.

The latest version should be .614. Please check the upgraded machine.

This version isn't being offered automatically on every attempt--I can't
tell what the scheme is, but I've only seen offers on two of about 3 dozen
machines I administer. You can grab the latest version directly from the
download site a couple of links below:
